It’s all gone to the dogs (in a good way).

We're proud to have raised £94 from our Halloween day in our Kent office on 29th October, which we've donated to the fantastic Guide Dogs for the Blind.
As well as raising funds for a great cause, Team V has had a boost of wellbeing since bringing our best friends into work.
It’s long been proven that pet ownership is good for your health. From helping with stress and anxiety to reducing blood pressure, every pet owner instinctively knows the feel-good-factor. And, in the dog-eat-dog world of washroom solutions, the bosses at Venesta have seen the benefits for productivity, wellbeing and morale.
The Do’s and Don’ts of bringing your dog into work.
Dogs at work are now a regular fixture at Venesta’s Gravesend office and we’ve learnt a thing or two. Here’s what we advise if you’re thinking of doing the same ….
Make sure everyone is on board.
We did a trial run to make sure everyone was ok with the idea. We wouldn’t have continued without everyone’s buy in. Now? Well let’s just say that even the most sceptical are the most excited when their favourites trot through the door!
Pack a doggy bag.
Water, food, treats, toys, a comfy bed, poo bags and anything else they might need are essentials for the day. Their wellbeing is our utmost concern.
Only top dogs allowed.
Even pet lovers dislike other peoples’ dogs jumping up, howling in the middle of important phone calls, or having the occasional … errm … mishap. We can’t pretend it hasn’t happened, but the owners have all been very responsible and quietly made amends. They’ve all been under control at all times, well behaved and never forced on anyone who’s not so keen.
Every dog has his day.
We take it in turns with one at a time, reducing the chance of disruptions of boisterous play or potential rivalries. And although, no one has taken up the offer, it’s not limited to dogs – all pets are welcome.
None of our pets are left home alone, so coming to work is seen as a treat.
And a treat it is!
