The Strand Medical Practice

The Strand Medical Centre is one of 47 GP, Nurse and Primary healthcare services operating under the NHS Clinical Commissioning Group in West Sussex.   

The aim of the project was to provide a new Primary Care Centre with completely modernised facilities. This has been the biggest event in the history of The Strand so far.

To make sanitation convenient for the busy doctors and nurses, our conveniently sized, pre-plumbed Recessed and Boxed-Out Units, from our Vepps Healthcare range were placed in all consultation rooms. 

Compliancy was an integral focus of the new facility. The Project Manager could specify our products with confidence, knowing that the entire Vepps Healthcare range is fully compliant with HBN 00-10 Part C and only uses WRAS listed products.

The HPL units supplied have a moisture-resistant chipboard core, faced with High Pressure Laminate which allows for everyday cleaning and with a 10-year guarantee, are built to last. The light and bright colours used create a welcoming and stimulating environment for visitors and staff.

For this community-run practice, Vepps Healthcare was able to deliver on the brief of hassle-free maintenance. Thanks to Vepps' linear-bearing lift-up hinges, when regular maintenance is required, duct space can be accessed within a matter of seconds. The robust hinges prevent the need to manually remove heavy panels, which is laborious and risks damage and misalignment, but this facility can look forward to easy and perfect panel alignment every time.

The Strand Medical Centre was able to achieve total compliancy across their new Medical Centre with bright new sanitary assemblies and reintroduce themselves at the forefront of community healthcare in West Sussex, with our Vepps Healthcare range.
